Vanguards is a student volunteer, public relations organization that represents the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse student body during campus tours, college fairs, high school visits, Campus Close-Up programs, and freshman registration. The primary responsibility of the Vanguard organization is to promote UW-La Crosse to perspective students.

  Established in 1976, Vanguards have assisted the Office of Admissions in recruiting high quality students to the university by utilizing a personalized approach to admissions from a student's perspective.

Perspective students and families will have the opportunity to find our more information from university officials, meet with faculty members from different academic departments, ask a panel of students questions, and take a tour of the campus.
