Society for Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities (SURSCA)
SURSCA is a student-run organization that promotes undergraduate research and scholarly and creative activities on the UW-L campus; serves as a clearinghouse for information relevant to URSCA, and promotes the dissemination of URSCA projects at professional organizations and conferences. SURSCA encourages its members to apply for undergraduate research grants, and to travel to local, state, and national conferences to share and present their activities to others.
SURSCA typically hosts a grant-writing workshop each fall and spring before the undergraduate grant deadlines. Look for details around campus and in the Eagle Connection.
Contact SURSCA president, Jason Schroeder (schroede.jaso@students.uwlax.edu) for information on meeting dates and times and how you can become involved in SURSCA.
