Performances are staged in the Toland Theatre, a 429-seat, fully-equipped playhouse
with state-of-the-art lighting system, trapped stage floor, hydraulic lift, and
counterweighted fly system. The 281-seat Frederick Theatre provides a more intimate
setting for senior project and children's theatre productions, as well as independent
student projects. Both theatres are supported by up-to-date costume and scene shops where
modern theatre technology is taught and applied to production work. Numerous theatre arts
students are also employed each year through work-study and student help programs to work
in areas of costuming/makeup, scenery/props/lighting, publicity, and management.
