The Right Choice for
Import & Export Training
The Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) Series is an extensive four-part import and export training program designed for global business professionals who are developing or expanding their international business activities. Participants can attend the four-day CGBP series or register for the individual sessions that best fit their needs.
The CGBP series concentrates on delivering real-world import and export knowledge, management perspective, and experience from industry experts involved with import and export activities. Upon completion, CGBP participants will possess in-depth knowledge of global finance options, supply chain management skills, and the necessary marketing tools to successfully enter international markets.
Participants will also be prepared to earn their NASBITE
Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) credential should
they choose to sit for the exam. The exam is optional. The
CGBP
certification is the
only professional credential for global business professionals in the
Business professionals who register for the CGBP series will also have a unique opportunity to complete a practical and tactical group project. Each participant group will indentify an international trade project that relates directly to their organization(s). Groups will apply the knowledge and research tools from the program to identify new markets for their products, analyze competitors, determine pricing, manage risks, etc. Past participants used this project to develop a blueprint for entering new markets, which they implemented following the CGBP series.
