| Name: Jon Bushman Rank: Major Branch: Armor Current Duty Station: West Point, New York Profile: I am an armor major in my third year of teaching Human, Regional, and Physical Geography in the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at the US Military Academy at West Point, New York. Next summer I will PCS to the DC area and begin schooling as part of my transition to becoming a strategic intelligence officer (Functional Area 34). As an armor officer I have served from brigade to company level in units at Fort Hood (1996-1999) and Fort Riley (2000-2004), prior to attending graduate school at UW Madison from 2004-2006 where I gained my masters in geography in preparation to teach at West Point. My wife Liz and I have four children: Miranda (16), Riley (9), Evan (6), and Will (4). |
