INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS
International
internship programs can give UW-L students relevant experience in
today's increasingly global society. An international internship allows
students to increase their cultural competencies and gain a better
understanding of other cultures; both in how they work and in how they
live. Internships are available around the world in various settings
including government, business, or the non-profit sector. Students may
combine an international internship with a study abroad program. Credits
earned from an international internship may be applied towards specific
program requirements of an internship experience, independent study or
research.

Once you have been accepted, you will have to follow certain procedures, described in the guidelines that are accessible below. Also some forms will have to be filled out and submitted to UW-L during your internship, which will help you get credit for your activities abroad. These forms can be accessed below.
