Faculty Teaching Opportunities

Faculty are responsible for the recruitment of students in order to participate; classes that do not meet minimum enrollments (15-18 students) will be cancelled.

Arrangement for travel, housing, and registration of students will be the responsibility of the Office of International Education.

Applications must be submitted by April 1st.

Summer Session
Number of Teaching Positions: 2-4
This 4-week program will be led by UW-L faculty members hosted on the
campus of the National University of Ireland, Galway. Students
participating in the program may enroll in two courses offered by UW-L
faculty. Faculty will be selected to teach based on a balance of courses
in order to attract students from a variety of disciplines. The program
will be open to freshman, so lower level, General Education courses are
encouraged. Teaching faculty will be responsible for proposing
course-related field trips, which must be incorporated into the program
fee as early as possible but no later than January 2010.
