Orientation and Arrival Information

Welcome to La Crosse!

The university, campus community and Office of International Education (OIE) are excited to welcome you to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Important dates for all international students starting spring or summer 2009:

Arrival Dates January 18-19, 2009 June 8, 2009
Official Arrival Date
(date on I-20 Form)		 January 19, 2009 June 8, 2009
La Crosse Battery Exam January 20, 2009 June 10, 2009
Orientation Dates January 20-23, 2009 June 9-12, 2009

 ORIENTATION IS MANDATORY.  YOU MUST SHOW UP FOR EACH DAY.

Orientation week is mandatory.

Upon your arrival in La Crosse, you will receive a detailed orientation schedule. Please remember to contact me with your arrival information at least 5 days prior to your arrival date. If you arrive before Thursday, August 21, OIE will not be able to pick you up or provide a place to stay. You will need to provide your own transportation from the airport and stay in a hotel until the Arrival Date.
