It is very important for you to know about Wisconsin weather. Winters can be very cold and temperatures can go below zero degrees F°. The house has a good heating system, so you do not have to worry about the cold inside. Once you are outside the house, dressing appropriately is most important for your health and well-being. Dress in layers, with a good winter coat on the outside. Also, wearing mittens or gloves, boots, hat and scarf will help protect exposed skin from the cold, and possibly frostbite. A Wisconsin winter may last until April. Even though it may be cold, there are many winter sports and activities to make the cold weather fun.Fall is one of the most beautiful times to arrive in La Crosse. The leaves turn shades of amber and saffron. The average temperatures range from 50° to 70°F. Occasionally, fall temperatures are hot. There is a central air conditioning system in the house.
