Federal Perkins Loans
The Federal Perkins loan is available to undergraduate and graduate students. Exceptional need must be shown for these limited funds. Students must be enrolled at least half-time. The school acts as the lender and repayment begins nine months after enrollment ceases at a fixed interest rate of 5%. Students have up to ten years to repay. Entrance Loan Counseling is required for first time borrowers.

Exit interviews, which need to be completed at the
time of leaving the University, can be completed at website
https://www.uasexit.com.
UW-La Crosse contracts with University Accounting Services (UAS) for
Perkins Student Loan billing.
