ESL Institute 8-Week Summer Session
Welcome to summers at the ESL Institute at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse!
Summers at the ESL Institute are educational and fun. In
addition to offering quality courses in listening/speaking,
reading/writing, pronunciation and testing
skills, the Institute offers students the opportunity to travel.
Students often spend entire days traveling to nearby cities and
experiencing Americana.
Summer excursions have included:

No summer meal plan: Students can use their own funds to eat on campus or at restaurants in the vicinity. Students can also choose to cook in the dormitory.

All ESL classes meet Monday - Friday during the summer months.** Course offerings during the summer months include the following: Listening/Speaking; Reading/Writing; Testing Skills Lab; Pronunciation Lab; Conversation Partner Program; Student Resource Center.
**Note: Our upper level
research course will meet 3 afternoons per week.
