Remember vinyl?
In 1981 I made a record album on the Grant Union High School Wurlitzer pipe organ. The selections were chosen from Broadway musicals of the seven decades between the 1920s and 1980s, as follows:
- "Rise and Shine" from Take a Chance (1932)
- "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line (1975)
- "Mame from Mame (1966)
- "Till There Was You" from The Music Man (1957)
- "Come Follow the Band" from Barnum (1980)
- Seven selections from Oklahoma! (1943)
- "I'm Just Wild about Harry" from Shuffle Along (1921) and
- "Ain't Misbehavin'" from Hot Chocolates (1929)
In 2000 I digitally transferred the original master tape to CD. If you'd
like a copy, I'd be happy to send you one cheap!
