The Educational Television Center (ETC) provides a wide variety of video production, consultation, and instructional design services for faculty, staff, students, and other agencies. The Center can produce and edit in 1/2" VHS, 3/4", 1/2"MII, and Betacam. Productions can be shot in the field or in the studio. Multi-camera remotes can be arranged. Facilities are available for clients to edit programs themselves or have an assistant help them. Some equipment is available for limited check out. Also, ETC can provide conference support for television-related requests.
The Educational Television Center produces a multiplicity of programming which includes classroom instruction, departmental promotions, campus publicity, documentaries, research videos, and public service productions.
In addition, the ETC staff can help faculty, staff, and students in designing their productions to fit their specific needs. Instructional design consultation can be provided to serve many instructional needs.
The department has a stock footage collection of over 1000 videotapes, a video collection of completed video productions, and a 250 piece copyright-free music library.
