Undergraduate Services

Undergraduate business majors will consult with my office to...  

  • confirm degree requirements.  My office is responsible for assuring the university that business students have met all degree requirements and should be awarded their bachelor's degree.   Students are encouraged to schedule a "credit check" with my office prior to starting their senior year.
  • ask questions about university policies and procedures.  My office is responsible for interpreting all academic policies and enforcing the rules and regulations pertinent to those policies. These include questions about academic standing, transfer of coursework, graduation requirements and scheduling.
  • pick up information about the various business majors and minors.  Our office maintains brochures which describe the programs, career opportunities, etc.  We also provide the College's program CHECKSHEETS, which list all course requirements for general education, business core and each business major; check the dispensers near Room 224 Wimberly Hall.
  • apply for admission to the Business Program.  Applications for the program are reviewed by my office; the form is available in dispensers near Room 224, Wimberly Hall.  Applications are always due by midsemester, the semester before students plan to start junior/senior core and major coursework.
  • confirm faculty advisor assignment.  My office assigns faculty advisors for all business students.  These assignments are posted on the bulletin board outside 223 WCW Hall.

Graduate Services (MBA Program)

Information about our graduate program, Masters of Business Administration (MBA), may be obtained from my office, including information about the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) and graduate assistantships.

Applications for the program, and admission decisions, are handled by my office.  Registration for all MBA courses is coordinated through this office, as well.
