UW-L Records Three Top-Eight Finishes at Drake Relays

Des Moines, Iowa – The UW-La Crosse women’s track & field team recorded three top-eight relay finishes at the Drake Relays over the weekend. No team scores were kept.

The Eagles' 4x100-meter relay of Sara Duchow, Ashton May, Katie Steingraeber and Caitlin Schetter were fifth overall (47.69) while the 4x200-meter relay of Steingraeber, Schetter, Cassie Grosse and Caitlin Wippermann placed sixth (1:44.46).

UW-L's 4x400-meter relay of Caitlin Perra, Duchow, Ashley Pershing and Danica Schaefer were seventh (3:52.29).

The 1,600-meter sprint medley relay placed 13th overall (4:13.10) with the team of Stephanie Lasko, Schaefer, Abby Lien and Michelle Horn.

UW-L returns to action Friday, May 2 at the WIAC Championships at UW-Eau Claire.
