Softball Team Wins Six of Eight Games on Spring Break

La Crosse, Wis. – The UW-La Crosse softball team went 6-2 on its spring trip to Tucson, Arizona last week. The Eagles are now 13-5 overall.

UW-L opened its trip with a 5-4 loss to Edgewood College before defeating Lakeland College 9-1. After a 2-1 loss to Central College, the Eagles ended the trip on a five-game winning streak.

They defeated Marian University (2-1), St. Joseph’s College (10-2), Augsburg College (12-0), Pomona-Pitzer Colleges (4-1) and Trinity Christian College (12-4).

The Eagles return to action Thursday, March 26 hosting city-rival Viterbo University at 3 p.m. in a doubleheader.
