Soccer Team Drops WIAC Contest at UW-Eau Claire

Eau Claire , Wis. - The UW-La Crosse soccer team fell 4-0 at sixth-ranked UW-Eau Claire Saturday afternoon at Bollinger Fields. The Eagles fall to 4-3 overall and 1-2 in the WIAC while the Blugolds improve to 6-0-1 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
Four different players scored for UW-Eau Claire, who held a 27-1 shot advantage over UW-L. The Blugolds finished with 14 shots on goal while the Eagles failed to have one.
Amanda Clark recorded 10 saves for UW-L.
UW-L returns to action Thursday, September 27 facing city-rival Viterbo University at 5 p.m. at Fields for Kids in La Crosse.
