Clark Named WIAC Player of the Week

Madison, Wis. – University of Wisconsin-La Crosse junior goalkeeper Amanda Clark of Minocqua (Lakeland) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Defensive Player of the Week.

Clark recorded a pair of shutouts during last week. She had six saves in the Eagles’ 1-0 victory over city-rival Viterbo University September 27 and five saves in a 2-0 win over UW-Stout September 29. Clark, who has compiled a 1.32 goals against average this season, now has six career shutouts.

UW-L, 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the WIAC, returns to action Wednesday, October 3 at UW-Platteville at 7 p.m.
