Tailgating Policy for UW-L Football Games

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has announced its tailgating policies for the 2009 football season. The University encourages tailgating in a fun and family-friendly environment. We ask all tailgaters to be respectful of those surrounding you and mindful of your choice of language and activity. Persons acting in a disruptive, disrespectful or disorderly manner may be asked to leave the premises or be subject to citation.

• Alcohol beverages are prohibited on University property.

• Grilling (charcoal or propane) is not permitted on campus.

• Groups and individuals are allowed to have food and non-alcoholic beverages in the parking lots.

• Glass containers are not allowed on campus.

• Groups and individuals are required to clean up their trash.

• University Police will monitor all fans and has the right to tell fans to extinguish grill flames, remove any alcohol and may ask any person to leave the area.
