Teaching and Research Interests
Dr. Lloyd teaches a variety of courses in cultural anthropology, including religion and magic, women and society, the anthropology of war, the anthropology of rock and roll, and the Celtic world, as well as a General Education Program course called Human Culture/Human Nature. Her research interests have included the study of animal-human interaction, and wicca in history and contemporary times. She served as department chair from 1984 to 1989, has taught in the Wisconsin-in-Scotland Program, and is currently serving on the Faculty Senate. Susannah is also a member of the Women's Studies Department. Avocations include travel, reading, painting, and social time with spouse and cats.
