UW-L Records Shutout Win over UW-Stout

La Crosse, Wis. - The UW-La Crosse soccer team improved to 6-3 overall and 2-2 in the WIAC with a 2-0 victory over UW-Stout Saturday afternoon at Veterans' Field. The Blue Devils fall to 2-8 overall and 1-2 in the conference with the loss.
Ramsey Weyenberg gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead at 37:22 with an assist from Amy Cory. UW-L made it 2-0 at 88:49 as Aimee Schneider scored with an assist from Kaili Trieloff.
UW-L finished with 17 shots in the match, including eight on goal. UW-Stout
totaled 12 shots, five on goal.
Amanda Clark earned the win for the Eagles, recording five saves. Jessica Halvorson had four saves for the Blue Devils.
UW-L returns to action Wednesday, October 3 at UW-Platteville at 7 p.m.
