UW-L Earns Conference Win at UW-Platteville

Platteville, Wis. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team improved to 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the WIAC with a 1-0 double overtime victory at UW-Platteville Wednesday night. The Pioneers fall to 2-5-3 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
Erin Wilson scored the only goal of the match at 106:08 with an assist from Amy Cory.
UW-L finished with 10 shots, including five on goal while UW-Platteville totaled five shots with two on goal.
The Eagles' Amanda Clark, the WIAC Defensive Player of the Week, finished with two saves.
UW-L returns to action Saturday, October 6 hosting UW-Whitewater at 2 p.m.
