UW-L and Carroll Finish in Tie

Waukesha, Wis. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team finished in a 0-0 double overtime tie at Carroll College Wednesday afternoon in Waukesha. The Eagles are now 7-4-1 overall while the Pioneers are 9-2-1.
Carroll finished with 15 shots in the match, including seven on goal. Trisha Konkol and Hillary Reichardt each had two shots on goal. Ashlee Reinke and Sarah McLaughlin combined on the shutout for the Pioneers. Reinke played the first half recording no saves while McLaughlin played the final 65:00 in goal, finishing with three saves.
UW-L totaled 11 shots in the match, including three on goal. Amy Cory finished with five shots for the Eagles, including two on goal. Aimee Schneider had the other shot on goal. Amanda Clark played the entire 110 minutes in goal, recording seven saves.
UW-L returns to action Sunday, October 14 hosting Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) at 2 p.m.
