UW-L Ends Season with Loss at Carroll

Waukesha, Wis. - The UW-La Crosse soccer team concluded its season with a 2-0 loss at Carroll University Wednesday night. The Eagles finish 4-12-1 on the year while the Pioneers improve to 14-2-1.

Carroll, ranked sixth in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American North Region Poll, took a 1-0 lead in the first half as Cody Callender scored her 23rd goal of the season at 21:32.

The Pioneers made it 2-0 at 65:47 as Amanda Leach tallied her ninth goal of the year with an assist from Kyle Ringelstetter.

Carroll outshot UW-L, 12-2, including 6-1 on shots on goal. Emily Wick recorded four saves for the Eagles while Ashlee Reinke had one save for the Pioneers.
