UW-Eau Claire Blugold Open Cancelled; Tapplin Competes at UW-Platteville Invitational

La Crosse, Wis. – The UW-La Crosse men’s track & field team was scheduled to compete at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Open Sunday, April 13, but the meet was cancelled due to the weather in the Eau Claire area.

UW-L's Alex Tapplin did compete Sunday as he finished third in the pole vault (16-0 3/4) at the Nike/Impact Sports UW-Platteville Invitational.

The Eagles return to action Friday, April 18 hosting the Phil Esten Challenge at 2:30 p.m.
